high tide--
feeling the moon's pull
in the waves

rising moon--
giant masses held in sync
with precision

maracas bay--
a shark & bake sandwich
after the swim

incomplete...
with some dreams it's
for the better

calfing iceberg--
a thousand winters, falls, springs,
and summers

a layer of ice
forms on the red sleigh--
february rains

snow accumulates
on a short, weathered pine:
canyon edge

cherry blossoms
parched by august heat...
now under ice

patch of daffodils--
the old john deer, parked
by a collapsed barn
