From "The Haiku Anthology" I became interested in Haiku and I have since written numerous haiku, senyru, and tanka. "Masago", my haiku pen-name, means "grain(s) of sand" in Japanese. I have recently started learning Esperanto and Japanese. A few years ago I developed a new eastern verse form which we now call 'Renhai'.

just trying to get it right, I suppose
if you got it - flaunt it :)

pervasive and continuous our rooster friend
I miss mine after a local raccoon took off with him. By the feathers left behind in the coop and out, I'd say he put up a pretty good fight.
(I don't miss the crowing at 2 a.m. when my son comes home & his headlights glance by the chicken coop)
My Aussie does that if I don't get up quick enough. He jumps on top of me!! Perfect!!
it's been a long time since i last heard the rooster... nice
Andrew: ...and over and over and...
Pamela: Yup. It must be an exciting event for them.
Floots: ...and flaunt it and flaunt it... :-)

Pat: Aussie?
Polona: I don't hear it much now either (glad). :-)
