I return a smile to an on-coming stranger... guy behind.

[This happens once in awhile. Don't you feel a little embarrassed when you find out it isn't you that the other person is exchanging smiles with? Of course, there are those who don't even exchange smiles with folks they know.]
Floots: Cheers. I know that feeling too when complete strangers come up and start a conversation as if you had been buddies with them for years. So I'm either becoming well known (around here) or my memory is starting to go. :-)
John: Thanks.
Pat: :-)
Borut: That's too funny!
Tikkis: :-) [you're not a stranger...whoops, maybe you are smiling at Borut]
From "The Haiku Anthology" I became interested in Haiku and I have since written numerous haiku, senyru, and tanka. "Masago", my haiku pen-name, means "grain(s) of sand" in Japanese. I have recently started learning Esperanto and Japanese. A few years ago I developed a new eastern verse form which we now call 'Renhai'.

Yep, done that.
Haha, usually I'm the first to smile. When we pass each other, I find out I've been smiling to a complete stranger, not somebody I thought I knew!:)
