From "The Haiku Anthology" I became interested in Haiku and I have since written numerous haiku, senyru, and tanka. "Masago", my haiku pen-name, means "grain(s) of sand" in Japanese. I have recently started learning Esperanto and Japanese. A few years ago I developed a new eastern verse form which we now call 'Renhai'.

Link with 1005: Shoots.
[In the old days kids made do with what they had available and that included street hockey equipment.]
I'm starting to see your childhood unravel in these latest offerings. :)
we used anything available for our bases when playing softball in the cow pasture.
except of course, the obvious ha ha ha ha
not just the old days, I still see kids do the same. I don't see hockey, though -- just baseball. :)
nice memories

John: Thanks.
Pat: And tin cans and rocks, when those aren't handy. :-)
