Link with 1082: Flitting motion.

[San Fernando, Trinidad: As evening descends and the Sun dips below the horizon we look out from the veranda at the city skyline. Almost imperceptibly, out of the corner of an eye, something flitters against the twilight sky. Then there's another one, and a little later, yet another one. It is supper time for the neighbourhood bats.]

always a few around after dusk here flying circles around the neighbors tree. The tree must attract insects.

Floots: Me too (although we don't see many in these parts). :-)

John: Thanks.

Polona: Thanks. You're a little batty, eh? ;-)

Pamela: That must be cool to observe. I understand they actually serve a "good purpose" despite the negative rap they've received over the years.

They seem to have disappeared from our neighborhood. I used to watch them from the bench come into our garden at dusk!? Thank you. We may never see them again here.

Borut: my pleasure. Thank you for your comment.
