mall skylight... the moon between patches of drifted snow
Link with 891: Underside (Clouds / Skylight)
[Our downtown mall has a giant sky light above the third floor. Early one evening I looked up and saw the Moon between patches of drifted snow that had accumulated on top of the skylight.]
From "The Haiku Anthology" I became interested in Haiku and I have since written numerous haiku, senyru, and tanka. "Masago", my haiku pen-name, means "grain(s) of sand" in Japanese. I have recently started learning Esperanto and Japanese. A few years ago I developed a new eastern verse form which we now call 'Renhai'.

oh.. for a minute there when you mentioned the moon -- I was back at the writing in the snow ha ha ha.
I have a sky light or window and I love to listen to the rain beating on it.
And last night when the moon woke me - it made the shadow through the mini blinds on the floor.
Our snow is g.o.n.e wasn't much to begin with.
