by Masago: Rengay #10 (Nov 4-10), Verses 1-4 (of 6)
Prairie horizon — ducks in a 'V' fly in / from the north.
An A-frame roof raised - the urban view expands.
A horse shoe / over the fireplace mantle — fading memories.
Basement reno — the wooden sawhorse, now / the kids' pony.

Talking about kids, here's the nursery rhyme from my early childhood, The Bear's Wedding, summarized in plain prose:
It's all rhyme, Vaughn, an insurmountable obstacle for a haiku writer!?:) All I can say is that the Bear married a Fox. The Crow was the cook, the best pieces of meat got mysteriously lost, and the guests got drunk and danced as crazy...
'Everybody thought as one:
Such a wedding, what great fun!'
that's excellent!
Aurora: Thank you. Your encouragement is greatly appreciated.
Andrew: Thanks.
Floots: Thank you as well, mate. :-)
John: Thanks.
Borut: Very cool. Thanks!
Polona: Thank you!
