From "The Haiku Anthology" I became interested in Haiku and I have since written numerous haiku, senyru, and tanka. "Masago", my haiku pen-name, means "grain(s) of sand" in Japanese. I have recently started learning Esperanto and Japanese. A few years ago I developed a new eastern verse form which we now call 'Renhai'.

In the Southeastern part of the US we're very familiar with pine stumps, and BUGS. You captured this perfectly Vaughn!!
makes me wonder why it disappears -is it to mate or lay eggs or hide from a predator or the scorching sun...
well done!
Kai, thank you for your kind words.
Thanks Pat, lotsa bugs up here... mostly (*s*) in the summer time.
Polona, only the bug knows, eh? :-) ...thanks.
