Renhai Reflections 139: Bright and Loud

Bright and Loud

A Renhai by Vaughn Seward (vs) & Zhanna P. Rader (zh.r)

Reflected in eyes,
the wild, electric dance
between the clouds. /zh.r

Cracking, crashing booms... /vs
Sounds muffled under the bed... /zh.r

A sudden flash
spreads across the harbour -
town lights darken. /vs

Having been struck by lightning a number of times in a 747 above Toronto these verses take on a strong imagery for me - I can almost feel the lightning again :)

This streaked right off the screen and into my head.

The first one is my favorite...literally gave me chills. I LOVE thunderstorms...so exciting. My heart beats a little faster everytime I see those thunder clouds roll in. Bravo...these are fantastic! :)
