Renhai Reflections 135: Here...

Here...

A Renhai by Betty Kaplan (bk) & Vaughn Seward (vs)

Quiet beach —
a wave washes over
the last sand wall. /vs

Her diary... one page turned down /bk
a tear begins to well. /vs

Found in the attic —
I should have known,
crumbling pages /bk

and yet, there are many things i should have known,

that came as a conclusion after reading :)

This is really nice...I have been feeling so nostalgic and reflective here lately, so I completely identify with the tears welling up reading a diary entry. Very touching.

Nice connection between them. Things in passing, like summer to autumn.

An evocative as well as emotive set - change always brings a touch of melancholy with it. Very much enjoyed these.

Left a suspended effect, but truly enjoyed every word and the creative process behind them.

Very nice scene, though I am surprised about about the double-page. As a special sort of dissonance it makes me think a lot - unfortunately I don't find the key to the box. May be later ...

Best wishes
Ralf
