the ball, off a head. /vs

One, two, then three pigeons land — /vs
flying home, team Germany. /gc

Well, a hard story for me (but Spain was the better team in the half-final). And of course I have say that Germany played the little final after that (so they flew home home just in a figurative sense).

Anyway: this is one of the few good soccer poems; too many of them just mirrored the result.

Best wishes
Ralf
