by Masago: Rengay #41 (Jun 8-14, 2008), Verses 1-5 (of 6)
Oh mosquito, little one in my shower... cease fire?
A rain drop hits the earth — the ant changes course.
Hornets under / the back porch — the front / gets busier.
A bee embraces / a rose blossom — the stinger / points skyward.
Sun-facing spider web — each dew drop, a jewel.
[...Woops, I posted these last two in the wrong order yesterday.]

regardless the order, I like them both. :)
These are great. I don't have a natural affinity with most insects, but the way you've zoomed in the focus, I can't help but love them.
The rose / bee one is masterful - that link between the bee sting and rose thorns. Fantastic!
i have observed bees doing just that... a beautiful and clever verse!
the inversion doesn't really affect the overall feeling to me
Andrew: Thank you.
Jem: Thank you. I had actually not seen the juxtaposition of the stinger and the thorn, well done!
Polona: Thank you!
