Rengay Through the Seasons #43 [1-6]

by Masago: Rengay #42 (Jun 22-28, 2008), Verses 1-6 (of 6)

Long day — the sun goes to bed / after I do.
We get ice-cream cones — a lick sends my scoop flying.
Rising tide — a wave laps over the last / of the castle.
A sudden squall — an outdoor chess match / enters the end game.
At the end of the dock — he tries hooking minnows.
Awakened at dawn — the sound of sirens grab / our attention.

I wrote one about sirens this week - there must be something in the air.

Jem: Must be (although I actually wrote this verse a couple of weeks back). :-)
