by Masago: Rengay #42 (Jun 22-28, 2008), Verses 1-2 (of 6)
Long day — the sun goes to bed / after I do.
We get ice-cream cones — a lick sends my scoop flying.

I've never actually done that -- you see it so many times. :)
I'm going to guess round things that move....
sort of like me, bwaa ha ha ha
I've seen that happen to little kids a lot :)
oh dear me

I love going to bed when there is still a little light. I think it reminds me of childhood. As does your ice-cream one - I always dropped mine!
I'm wondering if this could be about things falling (sun / icecream).
oops... funny except for the one who loses the ice cream...
Like Janice and Jem, I feel a sense of regression in going to bed while it's still light, and the ice cream and its fate tend to reinforce this for me.
Andrew: I've only done it once myself. It was on a "date" with a girl and my coolness suddenly disappeared. I felt pretty dumb but we soon both started giggling and I then got to have a few licks from her cone. :-)
Pamela: LOL, very close!
Janice: Yes, I suppose they haven't learned the laws of physics yet. :-)
John: :-)
Jem: Thanks. You are on the right track, sort of (today's posting will probably through you off though). ;-)
Polona: :-) Yes, and I was one once (see above).
Bill: Thanks. Summer is full of mixed emotions.
