Rengay Through the Seasons #30 [1-6]

by Masago: Rengay #30 (Mar 23-29, 2008), Verses 1-6 (of 6)

Patch of daffodils — the old John Deere parked / by a collapsed barn.
Empty rocking chair — the cat naps undisturbed.
Swing set — a vacant seat sways / back and forth.
The kite's tail / hangs from a branch — spring drizzle.
She rushes to the back — one "occupied" light is off.
The backhouse door / lies on the ground — a squirrel / sits atop the roof.

Floots: So true. Thank you.

Pamela: :-) Thanks.

John: Many thanks.

Polona: That's another way of stating the central theme. Thanks.
