Out in the Rain

At the pond —
we splash sun all over

A birdbath out in the rain —
each drop bursts into many. /vs

Overflowing tub —
the toddler drenched from saving
"drowned water." /ha

Baby's baptism —
the minister also gets
a christening. /vs

Wind through the graveyard —
an elm scatters shadows. /ha

Poolside repose —
a vodka martini with
a splash of lime. /vs

The central theme in this rengay is "Splashing".

In Slovenian, and in Russian probably as well, 'vodka' means 'little water'!:)
