[Nature seldom has any regard for man's "rules". One sunny afternoon after a visit to our favorite coffee shop we came out and I saw a seagull as described in this haiku. Perhaps it had come for a "coffee" too.]

yes - they make up their own rules
i love gulls in the air - not so keen when they chase the small birds off the food in the garden :)

They're also not cool when the deposit their waste without regard where. Here, they love McDonald's.

Pamela: That'd be a good one. I actually did write a haiku back in September, 2005 about something similar:

No parking zone -
a magpie perches
on the sign.
