Rengay Through the Seasons #43 Summary

by Masago: Rengay #43 (Jun 22-28, 2008) Summary

End Game

Long day —
the sun goes to bed
after I do.

We get ice-cream cones —
a lick sends my scoop flying.

Rising tide —
a wave laps over the last
of the castle.

A sudden squall —
an outdoor chess match
enters the end game.

At the end of the dock —
he tries hooking minnows.

Awakened at dawn —
the sound of sirens grab
my attention.

The central theme in this rengay is "Endings".

Mmm good one. Now that you have revealed the theme, they take a good second reading. Endings really do come in all shapes and sizes.
