- From "The Haiku Anthology" I became interested in Haiku and I have since written numerous haiku, senyru, and tanka. "Masago", my haiku pen-name, means "grain(s) of sand" in Japanese. I have recently started learning Esperanto and Japanese. A few years ago I developed a new eastern verse form which we now call 'Renhai'.

Sunny beach -
each successive wave,
almost the same.

[When I am at the sea shore I love just sitting and watching the waves come in, over and over again. Each one is different yet each one is more or less the same.]
The beach is one of my favourite places to be.
