269. Hot August Day

Backyard pool —
one cloud, a cloud's worth
of cool shade.

Hi Vaughn

Longtime no "see". My wife and I both enjoyed reading this current page of haiku.

Just thought I'd let you know we are on a working holiday in Alberta (Canmore).

Its such a beautiful area! I can see where you get your haiku inspiration. When we get a car, we might make a day trip to Edmonton - it would be great to meet up for coffee.

Keep up the good work,

Beautifully versed - so much in so few words. Your economy is staggering and satisfying.
