993: Wad.

[Spitballs are small bits of paper that have been chewed and mixed saliva. In Junior High school we'd compete to see who could hit a wall from the furthest away. Sometimes we'd try to hit a moving target. Another thing we'd try and do was to see who could make the biggest wad that could stick to the ceiling. We weren't always around to see the ones come down that didn't stick.]

Ah yes, I remember too. What fun!
No wonder I failed physics.

Aurora: Well, actually I didn't do that much shooting of spitballs...I was more into hand-made mini-darts made from needles, toothpicks, thread, and cardboard. :-)

Andrew: :-)

Pamela: True.

Floots: *hee hee*

John: Look out. :-)

Gautami: Aha, I figured there were girls that did this too.

Polona: *lol*

Beaman: Failing physics...on the contrary, one had to calculate the proper trajectory and wind resistance... :-) Thanks for commenting!

Actually I was (and still am) a pretty fair shot. My friends don't let me have straws when we go out to eat. I love this!!

Pat: I'll keep that in mind when we meet for our book signings. :-)
