Link with 960: Losing support.

[Moving out from one's parents usually comes with mixed emotions for both child and parents (there are exceptions). In my case I moved out from home right after I got married. It was a day in February but I don't recall if it was cold or not, my mind was other things.]

I don't even want to think about my children leaving! I'm living in the house I grew up in, so I came back. :) Where are my parents, though? :)

Yeah, I recall that too, but when I read this, I thought it could have been someone divorcing their partner and having to get their own place. Open to interpretation, I guess. Nice piece.

Andrew: Wow, it must have been a great place growing up. :-) I'd watch your kids, they're probably eying the house now.

Floots: Aye, laddy...that is the same with me. ;-)

Pamela: Had 3 sets of parents? (Just kidding). :-)

Borut: Really? Amazing, you must like home along with Andrew. Actually I liked home too but there was no room for my wife and I so we got our own apartment. :-)

John: Thank you, my friend.

Getzapped: Right, I hadn't seen it that way. It's amazing how a haiku can reflect so many feelings and views. Thanks for commenting.

Polona: Thanks muchly!

I remember a boot placed on the back side saying the free ride is over. Was most unsettling. I remember it was a very "cold" day. I showed that ole bastard I could make it on my own, ended up showing me too. good memory Vaughn!!
