978: Threaded.

[I first saw something like this a few years back but it was hanging on a telephone wire at one of our local train stations. Why was it there? Who had put it there? As far as I know it is still hanging there today. At the time, I was not aware that this was a phenomenon that had spread across many parts of North America:

In the 'ku, Vaughn. I could see this one. :)

Too many 'ku are image poor, rendering them anything but 'ku, in my opinion.

we drove through a little town somewhere and the telephone line across main street was covered with them.

I think I'd like it on an elm tree better. a little bird might find it perfect for a nest.

I wonder what you would haiku about that?

Aurora: Thanks.

Pamela: A bird's nest in a shoe, how sweet. I'd like to see that!

Borut: Sneaky...perhaps the tree is thinking, "What am I to do with all these shoes?"

Polona: Thanks.
