by Masago: Rengay 3, Verses 1-6 (of 6)

Little beggar... squirreling away pine cones / in our roof.
A layer of dark moss, on each cedar shake.
Yellowing larch — the wind shakes more needles / onto the ground.
A seedling fir, nearly covered in leaves — forest clearing.
Alpine meadow flowers... the added scent of juniper.
A field mouse / darts into the pile of spruce — mountain hut.

i enjoyed the cyclical feel to the piece and the feeling of sanctuary/winter haven summed up in that final line

I've got to "fall" back through these and catch up. Electronic high pitch emitters work great.

Vaughn, ditto Floots' comment.

Would it be appropriate to wish you Gemar Chatima Tovah and a healthy new year?

Andrew: Thanks.

Borut: :-) Thanks.

Floots: Thank you. I hadn't consciously intended a cyclical element... its amazing how these things work into our art. :)

Pat: Glad to see you again. :-)

Aurora: Thank you and Rabah todah v' chag samayach!

Polona: Thanks muchly. I'll be interested to see what you thought the themes were for this one. :-)

long w/e away ...so I come back for the finish

We hopped out of the car in the alpine meadow (no flowers really this time of year ...) but the scent was so wonderful.

So I really enjoyed that part of it.
