From "The Haiku Anthology" I became interested in Haiku and I have since written numerous haiku, senyru, and tanka. "Masago", my haiku pen-name, means "grain(s) of sand" in Japanese. I have recently started learning Esperanto and Japanese. A few years ago I developed a new eastern verse form which we now call 'Renhai'.

Very good!! Could you send some of that rain our way??
aurora & polona: Thank you for your kind words!
pat: Thanks...sorry, the rain was a hit-and-run sort of thing and was headed in a Northerly direction.
I really like this one -- seems to take my mind off the heat. :)
Elegant, Vaughn.
unusual for this part of the world but i'd welcome some rain right now
i agree with aurora
