christmas morning... the night's stillness broken by tiny voices
Link with 881: Stillness.
[The day finally arrives and they can no longer pretend to be sleeping. Their joy bursts through and they sneak out to see what Santa brought them under the tree.]
I had a grand niece this morning make mommy go check and make sure the fat guy with the beard was gone. She wasn't coming down if he was still there. She's 2. Perfectly described Vaughn!!
Aurora: Thank you Aurora. Holiday greetings to you too. Please describe these strange friends. P.S. Is there danger of seeing a now blog from you in the near future? :-)
Pat: That is too funny. Thanks for sharing and your kind comments.
Bill: Thanks, season's greeting to you too!
Pamela: What a hoot...that would have been fun to watch.
From "The Haiku Anthology" I became interested in Haiku and I have since written numerous haiku, senyru, and tanka. "Masago", my haiku pen-name, means "grain(s) of sand" in Japanese. I have recently started learning Esperanto and Japanese. A few years ago I developed a new eastern verse form which we now call 'Renhai'.
