- From "The Haiku Anthology" I became interested in Haiku and I have since written numerous haiku, senyru, and tanka. "Masago", my haiku pen-name, means "grain(s) of sand" in Japanese. I have recently started learning Esperanto and Japanese. A few years ago I developed a new eastern verse form which we now call 'Renhai'.

Yes, this was posted an August 18, 2007. That was the period between last year's haiku project and this year's rengay project.
The first verse of each solo rengay are from haiku that I wrote back in 2005. This one happened to slip through in this recent August between-project postings. :-)
