From "The Haiku Anthology" I became interested in Haiku and I have since written numerous haiku, senyru, and tanka. "Masago", my haiku pen-name, means "grain(s) of sand" in Japanese. I have recently started learning Esperanto and Japanese. A few years ago I developed a new eastern verse form which we now call 'Renhai'.

good one, open for interpretation!
final farewells sounds so terminal... but those smiles add some hope :)
After reading Polona's comment I can see it is. I took it as a visit ending, but that's the great thing about poetry. Like this!!
very sad...
polona: Yes her leaving was on good terms.
pat: Thanks. This was actually an employee who had decided to go into semi-retirement.
j: Just little sad...for me anyway (a poem, as Pat mentions, can be different for each reader).
